• Best practices for mitigating the impact of developmental trauma in children 
  • Students will review the causes and impact of developmental trauma and engage a brief introduction of skills used in a trauma-informed interaction model. This trauma-informed interaction model is the foundation skills for learning a full therapy model to use in working with children, parent child interaction therapy.
• Revolution & Resurrection: How to assess old systems to transform them into more Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive entities from the inside out.
• Center for Church and Community Impact (C3i) 
  • At C3i, we aim to discover how both the visible and invisible struggles of our lives such as poverty, stress, mental health, and trauma affect our communities and the congregations serving them. At our core, we aim to teach congregations how to measure their impact in positively creating change alongside their communities. In addition to the ongoing work of C3i, we are currently in the first year of a 3-year research grant where we will consult with congregations around the following topics: Accompaniment (congregational case management), Trauma Care, and LGBTQ+ Inclusion Discernment. During this session, we'll discuss the long-term outcomes of the grant and how it has helped develop research-informed, evidence-based online certificate programs in each of these focus areas to make congregations safe and inclusive for all people.
